The Jasmine Tea House is awash with rainbow colors. It’s pink walls and dark wood accents create a quirky ambience. The menu is very well-prepared Mandarin-style Chinese food. Egg rolls, crisp noodles, pork buns and dim sum are all here. Peking duck comes with crisp dark skin and fresh scallions, hoisin sauce and steame buns. Chef’s specials include sunflower chicken, where bite-sized pieces of meat are stir-fried with vegetables and sauce served up over a flower-shaped bed of spinach. Vegetarians will be delighted by the number of options including faux chicken and mock duck.- March 2005
