The restaurant is named for the highway that traverses the Campania, the region that is home to Naples. The narrow space of the restaurant is adorned with historic and mythical Neapolitan characters like mermaids, St. Anthony the Abbot who is patron saint of pizzaiolos and Princess Margherita of Savoy for whom the famous pizza was created. The restaurant features a marble-topped bar and a wood-burning oven. Pizzas are generally crisp and come with traditional toppings like olives, basil, oregano and mozzarella. There is also an antipasti plate with salumi, ricotta, burrata and olives. Other sample dishes include butter bean soup and octopus soup served over grilled bread. A16 also has a fine selection of wine.
